PACE ON PAR

Pace of play is important to every golfer, and we are working hard to make sure pace is a priority because we respect everyone's time.

TIPS TO PLAY FASTER:
  • Play from the correct tee box for your skill level.
  • Always be ready to hit when it's your turn.
  • Go easy on practice swings.
  • Think ahead about where and how you will hit your next shot.
  • Drop your teammate off at their ball on the way to yours.
  • Park your cart for easy access after your shot.
  • Limit your time searching for lost golf balls.
  • Record scores on the next tee box.
  • Don't worry about the group behind you, make sure you are keeping up with the group in front of you.
  • Allow and invite faster groups to play through if there is space on the course ahead of you.
  • We look forward to having you on course with us!

Great course to play when it's not packed or backed up. You can walk it comfortably in under 3 hours and enjoy the scenery. The greens were in great shape, other then a few deer tracks, but they were easily fixed. Get out and enjoy this course before it gets covered with snow and you wont be disappointed.

Staff did an amazing job to accommodate a large outing due to weather. We changed venues to Highland Woods on very short notice. Course was in terrific shape and the staff did an amazing job.

You can expect courses to play a little slow, the first 14 holes were great and played well but the groups started backing up at 14 as a group of older "walkers" seemed to tire out and the last 4 holes took an hour and a a half which is brutal and boring breaks the pace of the game. But it was a warm day and the staff was driving offering ice water and making sure everyone was OK on the course. It...  See More

I like to play a lot of the force preserve courses this now is my favorite. The greens were challenging and fast. The fairways were perfect. The sand traps had good drainage and nice sand. The staff was wonderful. Overall I had a blast and can’t wait to come back.

After arriving at the 1st tee, my colleague and I were late of our tee time by 10 minutes. The starter did a really poor job in ensuring that a pace of play could be established for the first 4 holes, we waits 15-20 at the tee box for players in front to clear the hole. The issue was that the starter released too many people on the course too close together. By the turn, the pace of play corrected...  See More

Got a fairly warm day (45) to get out and play. Was very pleased with the condition of the course and unexpectedly pleased that carts were let out., although probably should have been 90 degree only. Best part was leaves were being removed from fairways and roughs. Greens were in pretty good shape Traps were pretty bad, but it is November Pace of play could have been a little quicker, Carts ...  See More
